What acne scar treatment is
Acne scars form when inflammation damages collagen in the deeper layers of the skin and the repair leaves a dent, a fibrous band or a pigment mark.
No device removes that damage in one pass: the work is to trigger controlled remodelling of collagen again and again, so the edges of each scar soften and the surface levels out.
